Payment, Insurance and cancellation policies

Payment

-Payment method is invoice or online card payment, invoice needs to be fully paid / online card payment made before unloading of the goods.

Cancellation

-The customer has the right to cancel the ordered service thirty (30) days before the agreed time. If the cancellation takes place after this, the customer will be charged 50% of the price of the move. If the cancellation occurs less than fifteen (15) days before the agreed time, the entire price of the move will be charged.

- Possible complaints must be made within five (5) days after the move.

-Force Majeure, Flyto Oy is not liable for compensation if the move is delayed due to force majeure. Force majeure obstacles include, for example, the prolongation of the previous move due to unforeseen reasons beyond the company's control, or the sudden breakdown of the vehicle.

Insurance

Basic cover - included in every removal

Max. compensation for breakage of goods is 500€ / removal, regardless of the weight of the goods. As long as they are packaged or protected by Flyto.

After this road transportation insurance is applied:

The amount of compensation for road transport insurance is based on the weight of the cargo and is a maximum of €10/kg.

For example maximum compensation for 1500kg of removal goods is 15.000€

If the value of the goods being transported is greater than this, the customer is recommended take additional insurance that covers the full value of the goods.

Full cover - an additional cost of 2,5% of the declared value

The insurance value is determined based on the item’s replacement value. Each insured item’s value, corresponding to its replacement cost in the destination country, should be recorded on the insurance list. The total of the listed values represents the total insured value of the shipment.

The insurance does not cover animals, plants, foodstuff, alcohol, cash, stamps, shares, documents, files stored on memory sticks, cards, or hard drives, jewelry, coins, gemstones, pearls, precious metals, or other similar valuable items.
